1K ViewsBabayaga's chicken legged house. This was a wonderful experiment with brushes and colors. Like some of you may realize, I've been trying to vary my rendering style a little bit to give it a more painterly feel compare to the clean and simple cell shading like before.

this is awesome! love the shapes and expression. have you tried using different color outline? i noticed in the anime bakemonogatari the characters are sometimes lined with a dark maroon/purple color; it's subtle but adds a lot of depth and juiciness.
Thank you. I tried that few times ago and found that it didn't really fit my style and makes unnecessary attention so I stopped doing that and focusing on making my black line quality better.
