Artist's Shit (Italian: "Merda d'artista") is a 1961 artwork by the Italian artist Piero Manzoni. The work consists of 90 tin cans, filled with faeces, each 30 grams and measuring 4.8x6.5cm, with a label in Italian, English, French, and German stating:

Artist's Shit
Contents 30 gr net
Freshly preserved
Produced and tinned
in May 1961
 A tin was sold for 124,000 .

You come too late, a artist have already this idea... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist's…

I swear it's the same in art class, you can make just about any old crap, as long as you back it up with enough bull shit

one of the truth about this planet's society,in fact, what that guy meant to say was 'would you like to buy some shit'?

True shit. (see what I did there) Yeah, this reminds me of folks who draw a ton of nuclear explosions and people with gas masks just because they think it looks cool, not having any reason behind it. Or, if they do, it's a reason we've all heard before. Too bad we can't smack people through the internet...

And people just nod and agree because in reality they keep aksing theirself "Why did I come here?"

I can't even go past one of the art stores here. It's too much "modern art"

Eh, I mostly blame the critics that label such things as art. But yeah, I know where you're coming from and this does show exactly what a majority of modern art has come to.
