687 ViewsWell what do you know? This is the first time I've ever tried shading things with a marker, and it was a super faded grey one that I had to used a hell lot of layers to make it this dark.
And I screwed up the background with another dark marker.
So I hope you like my first try, I think it's ok as it is. I'll need a lot more practising.

Nice character, very solid looking. Like you've already said, I'm not too sure that the backgroun helps at all. But loving the work you've done on the character.
