I think Masaru got confused when Tohma's dad was talking about "that", I don't think he knows that Masaru is in DATS... or does he? Am I wrong in what Tohma's dad was referring to?

Oh... okay! Heh, like that would stop Masaru anyway! Tohma means more to him than some family succession, I wouldn't be surprised if you have thought of having Masaru confront Tohma's father during Tohma meeting a potential marriage partner! ^_^
Sorry, and by "that", I think Tohma's dad is referring to the digimon!
