What if I opened traditional art commission options? I'm mostly thinking about the black and white fineliner drawings since my colours are limited. Would there be an interest in that? (see my comment)

I'd be interested OwO

I've shipped paper artwork before! Just plain scotch bubble mailers from target- and you can cut cardboard from like, an old cereal box or anything similar to put on both sides for extra stability! Then I write "DO NOT BEND" on both sides of the envelope in red sharpie + large letters. I've never had any issues with products getting damaged! Even when international

We don't have Target here, but I'm sure I can find something similar! That sounds great, thank you so much for the tip c:

id love traditional art from you tbh

also as far as shipping goes, what ive done before and usually see people do is to use the flat "bubble mailer" envelopes (idk if you might have a different name for them there) and then also put the art itself between two pieces of thin cardboard with the envelope labeled on the outside "fragile - do not bend" on both sides of it

its still a bit of a crapshoot especially if its going to someone in the US since the post here is kinda hit or miss sometimes BUT that seems to be the most efficient way of keeping it safe

When I ship art(Small things like badges etc.) I usually kind of wrap it in another piece of thick paper or something, maybe a tissue.

Traditional art examples yo
I don't know about pricing just yet
Gotta catch 'em all by SpitfiresOnIce  Headshot stuff like this would probably be like... €15 per character? €7 for extra character in the same drawing like shown here.
Hot Gates by SpitfiresOnIce There was a time to try but now it is for real by SpitfiresOnIce
Fullbody stuff would be more like €25 for a single character, probably? Maybe less if it was simple and unshaded.
Eavesdropping by SpitfiresOnIce Do what you want 'cause a pirate is free by SpitfiresOnIce
Full images,,, oh boy that depends
The cheapest option for these would start at €60 I imagine? But that would be simpler than shown above,,, basically, the more ink I'd have to use and the more detail to be added, the more it costs. For the forest scene I'd probably charge €120 because it took, so, long,
The pirate one, more about €90? These probably wouldn't be so cheap.

These prices would probably include shipping! I'd just need to figure out envelopes and how to keep the art safe during shipment (does anyone have tips on shipping traditional art)?
So yea, let me know! I know these prices are expensive, it's just that I'd have to buy paper and new pens and also envelopes...

If we wouldn't be able to have it shipped would that affect the price? Or is that just an unfortunate thing. (Or would you be able to hold onto it for years until I could accept it...lol idk)

If it didn't have to be shipped, the price could be haggled with yes! I could technically hold onto it for years also :XD:
