If you have a fursona/persona/main character/etc., how often do you have problems with them (either deciding what character fulfills that role or what their design is)?

I don't really have a fursona/persona/anything of the sorts, and I'm not looking to have one

I'm kind of on an eternal struggle to find the perfect one, but I never really find anything.

I'm pretty much set with mine right now, and I don't see myself changing them majorly for quite a while.

When it comes to main characters, I'm quite content with them. The problem is that I might give them too much love that I forget to write other characters. When it comes to sona's on the other hand... I get irrationally stressed.

I made two characters as my sona's, one based on my positive side and one on my negative side. Problem is I feel like neither of them are good enough.. I don't know what to add to them to satistfy me.

I see! I personally try to keep sonas multidimensional, because people are not one side either and the all positive-all negative tends to wear a character down/make them seem flat at times. But if you love your characters, sometimes that's enough! Not everyone uses personal sonas as opposed to other characters.

Thanks!
And yeah, you're right. I already got his backstory and personality done, so I should give my other babs some love too. ;W;

In a way, I feel like the fursona I made more based on my negative emotions is more "me" than the other one. Fur colors were based on my skin tone and hair color, plus her personality is somehow closer to mine. The other is my more hyper and goofy side (which I show quite often nowadays). I'm still developing them and considered scrapping the sona I made based on my more positive goofy side since I don't find her necessary. Another problem with that is I'm kinda attached to both of them. lol

But I might figure something out. :3

I've had my fursona for a year now, and I've twice made a minor change to it, but right now I think that it's like me so perfectly that I won't chance it until I really have a need to do so. :)

I've had the same oc for quite a while now... I can't even say what exactly I like about her anymore except for the fact that she represents me perfectly. But hey, I still love her to bits and use her more than all my other characters uvu <3

Well, I do have a sort of cat fursona type thingamadoodle, but she's the main character in my Warriors fanfiction... I feel a little shamed that I'm not writing my own stuff but I'm willing to write a fanfic. :I  But that character is pretty much a translation of myself, so, I guess you could call it a fursona. But I'm really not sure if I'll keep it or what..

Fortunately I don't have any problems regarding their roles, but sometimes their design is a bit difficult to decide upon. That goes especially about my fursona, but I rarely draw him coloured nowadays.

Well I just made my fursona, but I went right back and changed her color scheme- I'm beautifully happy with it now though. I think you kinda get this feeling when you finally found the right character- at least I did- that feeling you could draw them forever.
