How do you feel about people who make a whole different account for certain content (for example, one account for commissions and one for personal, one for ARPG and one for non-ARPG, one for adoptables and one for everything else, ...)?

Good idea! I do that myself too/I would do that myself as well.

It's a nice idea, but it's not for me.

I don't really know how to feel about it/it depends on the kind of content that is being separated.

I personally don't like it!

I personally probably wouldn't do it, but I understand if it's separating like a professional account and a personal account. I myself like to keep everything in one place, tho if I were actually professional I might consider that. Idk

I see ^^

Having one other account to separate your commissions/work from  your personal/RP is kind of a good idea, however having more accounts than that is a little overboard... and kind of against DA rules. So I wouldn't have several at one time, personally anyway :)

I personally wouldn't, either!

Depends what's being separated.
I think it's silly to put commissions and personal art on different accounts, but I'm all for having two accounts if the second has adoptables, stamps, etc.--stuff that's not quite... well, I don't want to say "art" (cause it still is) but like... is meant for purposes other than just staring at something pretty. If you know what I mean ;;

Yea, that does make sense! I get what you mean ^^

It depends, if it's more "spammy" like RP's or adoptables, then it's fine for me to put that on another account, as I'm not really interested to constantly see that stuff

Yea, that's understandable. I don't mind adopts who are drawn completely by the artist themselves, but adopts on bases by others are things I click away instantly because I'm just not interested in those :noes:

I hate it when people do that. Just separate your art into different folders. It's not that hard.

i have an adopts account and a kennel account(for DARPG and HARPG) but i dont post too much on there and its mainly meant to keep this one clean of stuff i would rather not spam people with

the only adopts i still keep on here are my species adopts now. and DARPG can get messy really fast from what ive seen plus its easier to keep everything together in one spot for that anyways

I see! That's fair!

for the most part though i do prefer when stuff is in all one place, but i know sometimes its just a really rare thing(my other accounts are very inactive TBH) that doesn't fit in as well with the normal stuff

I have nothing against it, but like many others I prefer to have everything in one place.  I tried an adoptable account and all it did was aggravate me.

Like you said, I understand making separate accounts for things.  It tends to be mostly for audiences, as I know I've lost watchers (as well as gained them) as my art has shifted from one category to another - but in that case I believe the artist shouldn't much care.  My belief is that art should be enjoyed, not that one draws to please (with the exception being commissions), but draws for themselves.

That is true! I mostly draw for myself now, apart from commissions, and it's a lot better :P

I know a lot of people who stress about loosing watchers or not doing enough to please them... I, too, was like this at one point as well.  Agreed, it's so much better drawing for yourself rather than worrying about others' reactions to your art.

I had the same problem but ffff, it's not worth the stress really :noes:

I'm not an artist, but I like seeing everything in one place. There is no requirement that you like every piece of art of an artist who's work you generally like, but having it in one place can be a gateway to appreciating things you might otherwise reject.

Still, your art, your rules.
