You're mixing up my words. I said process and progress, not procress.

haha!! I always do that!

Just a bit ago I thought Kanye was Kayne!!!

In that case, I would say work in progress.

Always work in progress. "Work in process" would be a malapropism (getting similar sounding words in a phrase mixed up, like saying "chester drawers" instead of "chest of drawers"). Work in process is more to be used for goods/inventory/items that need to be processed rather than projects that need to be finished.

Native English speaker here, and I don't believe in 30+ years I have ever heard "process" used in this way. It actually sounds odd to me. I can see how some might use it, because being "in process" could mean that it's being created? I dunno, it just sounds weird.

Ahh, I heard it a few times I believe, but i'm not sure if it was a mistake? But yea, I see!

It might not be wrong, it just doesn't seem right to me as a native speaker. I have been wrong about these things in the past, I am willing to admit ignorance, but try to correct myself when I find my mistakes.

I always use "Work in Progress".  I've never heard of using it with "process," but I can see how easy it would be to mix the two up. D:

I've always assumed if a friend of mine or someone said work in process it's grammatically incorrect, but I've never been told specifically that that is the case

I call them WIP, as abbreviation of Work In Progress

Many of my current projects, be it art, programming, whatever, all fall under this category...I have completed very few
