I kinda worded that question the wrong way, I wanted to know whether people believed and were religious, or just believed but didn't identify themselves as a person belonging to a religion, o didn't believe at all, or something else. My apologies for being unclear :3
I think that's a good thing, that you don't blindly agree with everything but listen to what they say and think about it instead.
Indeed, that kind of campaigns will 1) not work at all since there are gay/bi people and they won't just go away and 2) it will make people (not to mention the gays themselves) turn away from the whole church since they don't feel welcome anymore. :3 Plus, like you said, if people want to believe and they try their best to be a good human, why would their orientation even matter?
But that's just my point of view, and there will always be conservative people, so yeah
