Depends on my mood and how lazy I am tbh. Cats are easier to draw and faster. But I also like expressing them more in anthro/furry. And I do them like that because it's harder to draw a human face so why not just put a cat head on a human body right?
Idk. I almost all time draw horses. In their real form. Sometimes humans. Sometimes invented creatures. I don't like anthro that much it doesn't fit my imagination or part of fantasy I imagine for myself.
I do lean towards feral, but I dont dislike anthro at all! In fact, sometimes I like it more cause it can be easier to express certain things VS with feral, youre kinda limited and have to invent your way through it.
I know that some people refer to "Anthro" as "furry" or some other term, but I personally do not use the terms in that way, and I don't really want to discuss them as that was not the point of this poll! I go by the terms that sites like FurAffinity and the general public use. That, and anthro does not really refer to animals exclusively, it can also be objects or concepts humanized. (To me, the term "furry" refers to a person who is part of the furry fandom, not to a character. The animal representation of a furry is a fursona (though not everyone with a fursona is a furry), but the character itself isn't referred to as a furry. I know a lot of people have different interpretations of those terms, but that is how I use them, and how I see them used most commonly!)
I also know that anthro can mean humanized in personality or behaviour, but I'm talking anatomy-wise. Going by that term, a lot of my gallery would be anthro, but it is not what I mean
Either way, I prefer drawing ferals, I simply enjoy animal anatomy more and I don't have too much experience in drawing anthros
