once i fainted in PE class while we werent even doing anything active. embarrassing!! it was a combo of dehydration, not enough to eat, and the fact that i was absolutely disgusted because we were talking about athletic injury and im ridiculously squeamish. my first thought when i came to was "oh my god, what if i miss rehearsal??" which really tells you a lot about theater kids imo

I fainted once.

It was right before a parade and I was in the marching band which goes first (usually) and I was A) dehydrated and B) Mr. Band Director was stressing me out because he was being a jerk. So yeah. Then I woke up and the most disturbing thing was is that the yellow line in the middle of the road was staring me in the face.

I have fainted from

-Getting shots (I used to be fine and then one shot was super painful and after that anxiety gets me every time)
-Locking my knees/ Standing too straight (I fainted on my first day of highschool while my mom was taking pictures)
-Overexertion/Anxiety

Only after I hit puberty tho! And man idk why but it's always really painful for me, especially when your ears plug up ugh

I apparently have some sort of vasovagal thing which is the cause of it for me. One time I was too cold, one time I was dehydrated, one time I got too hungry one day before lunch, and one time was after having a large meal...

*my lovely life story XD* Im an extremely skinney (like I've never gone over 125 pounds and I'm 18 years old), 5'9 female with a vitamin D deficiency and a low Iron problem. Mainly, with being very very skinney and tall, it's hard for blood to get to my brain, and the Vit. D and Iron problems don't help either, so i have to drink like (at least) 5 giant bottles of water each day to keep myself hydrated so blood can get to my brain easier. Basically, i take a water bottle or two everywhere i go and constantly refill it where i can and drink, drink, drink. Whenever there's a day that i don't have enough water, i get extremely dehydrated and light headed to the point where i do pass out (its happened to me twice at school, and 4 times at other places) and everytime that happens i go to the hospital and get an IV to pump me full of liquid again XD

Yea!! It was hard getting used to, but i manage. And it doesn't help that I'm e x t r e m e l y afraid of needles so while I'm basically passed out at the hospital it get worse when their trying to put the IV in me, and i just start crying and sweating uncontrollably (friendly reminder im 18 lmao) and basically making myself pass out from again from getting myself all worked up over needles. My life is PERFECT XD

I have low blood sugar (which my mom doesn't believe, but whatever) so if I don't eat for a long period of time it makes me faint. Kind of sucks.

Idk my step mom says subconsciously I'm scared and I sepress it till after and the release in tension messes up my blood flow. Same thing helps me in stressful situations because I don't feel feer/anxiety until after so I can deal with it with a cllear/alert mind

I have only passed out once, but I've knocked myself out due to impact twice. The time I passed out, I got up to turn my lamp on because my brother wanted to read something to me. It felt like I was in a daze. I completely forgot where I was or what I was doing. My body went numb. Everything was black. All of that in the span of maybe two seconds. Next thing I knew, I was on the floor. xD

I still don't know why it happened, but I believe it may be poor blood circulation... because my vision gets black and fuzzy half the time I stand up after laying down for too long. I've heard that's because of a lack of blood reaching your brain, but I don't know. After all, I'm not a doctor. If it's not that, then it could have been a side effect of knocking myself out really hard, since both accounts happened beforehand. :0

I've had several close calls, my body is kinda poop at keeping me cool and I live in Florida 😅 Good mixture
Anyways the heat gets me, I've almost passed out about twice times from the heat I believe, and once from a lack of food. Now at least I know the signs so I can take care of myself~
