Do you like it when an artist has their old art up somewhere (doesn't have to be in their main gallery, can also be in Scraps or on a previous account) so that you can see what they used to draw like?

I like looking through another artist's gallery and seeing how they improved over time but for my gallery I see something old and I'm just like "NOPE. NOPE. BURN." A lot of my older deviations I deleted, which I kinda regret since they're now lost. My biggest problem is looking at a deviation of mine and Deviantart is all "More by LackadaisicalLeopah" and it's a bunch of ancient art. I'm trying to resist deleting them so in case anyone cares they can see the improvement.

Yes, I like watching friends and other artists improve! It's also really interesting sometimes to look at what people used to draw and how their style has changed.

I like seeing their old art and their new art compared and then sitting there like wow that could be me in like two years if i practice (which i do every day cx) i find it inspirational and i also find myself able to trust them more when i can see their older pictures with more flaws more idk why tho

yes completely, it's really uplifting to see that they came from the same place as you and they weren't always so brilliant :'>

I sorted all my things in years :dummy:

I don't really see the point of removing old artworks, even though they're shitty.

Yeah, I like seeing people's old art because, indeed, you can see how they developed, and also because there might be an old art trade you had with the person there, or maybe gift art they once made you.
That's why I keep up my old art. xD

I like going through other deviants' old art :) Coincidentally, I actually just uploaded a very old drawing of mine a little while ago myself (I drew it over two years before I signed up on dA) ^.^

I love to go through the galleries of artists I love to see how they got where they are, and all my old ugly art is still up here so people can see I didn't just start out at my current level, too :XD:
