No but seriously...
I think it's a hard question; on one side, I love seeing their own art so I can see their style etc., but on the other hand I love seeing how generous people are by having made something of this person's character.

I think overall I prefer seeing the art of others?? That way they're acknowledging other artists taking time out to make something of their character, I don't know...

I was waiting for someone to say that. Because that would make my polls boring, Hawkie.

Hmm, I don't know, it depends. Sometimes they don't credit them at all and then it makes me sad to see.

Well maybe we need a bit of boring in our already dull lives, Bienie.

Ah, see, that does annoy me :ohnoes: however if it's credited I, personally, would much rather see the artwork of others... no idea why :dummy:

Perhaps, but it's not my job to provide you with boring.

Hmm, maybe because there's more variation? :)

Well how can you know for sure if that's the case?

Probably c: and personally I'd love to show off the artwork other people have done with me because it makes me feel special to know someone took time out of their day to make me a thing ;w;

I like seeing peoples characters on their page, weither they draw them themselves or someone else does.
I usually always click gallery after I visit a profile anyway so it doesnt really matter if they have their own art there or not :p

i think its very generous when other peoples art is featured but it is also misleading so i prefer when its their own art

I say it's fine to have commissions and things but it's annoying when I have to go looking through their gallery to see what their style is like then realize it's ALL commissions.

I'd say something like every 1 commission you have you should have 2 of your own drawings or something like that. Other people's art shouldn't be all over their page..

I like seeing peoples charectors... Like when you see a certain charector ( for example Sanho) and you're like "yeah that's Powiibo's"
but always give credit... I find it very annoying if you dont credit the people who made the picture

I find it annoying too, especially if I want to watch the artist who made it!

Being a non-artist, I prefer to fill my page with works that I comissioned from other people, as well as giving proper credit to those artists. So that, all who go to my page see the awesome works that others have done and the person I comissioned gains more watcher's views, etc.

I see! But some people don't provide links or usernames to the artists that made the art.

Isn't the picture itself enough? Or do they just reupload art that is made for them?

I definitely give credit, and if I have to upload it myself, I try to credit as much as possible.

I mean as in, sometimes they don't post the thumb, just the picture itself, so it's not clickable.

I'd say their own art, I don't like going to someones page seeing all this great art then finding out it's just stuff they commissioned.  Really a mix of both their own art and art of their chars is prob the best balance.

I think I would rather see their pages featured with their own art, instead of other people's..
But there's a lot of drawings from other people on my own page, so.. :XD:

Gosh, idk. Sad dummy

I prefer it when it's their own art so I can get a feel for their style without poking through their gallery, plus, it gets me interested.  An art style can tell a lot about a person, so, meat-bags, draw it yourself!
