OK, since the season is at the beginning, here are some guidelines for your works, to avoid that unpleasant feeling of your work being rejected.

Not just another shot of the snow. Here we have hundreds of photos of snow. Plain snow, macro snow, snowy landscape, snow city, people in snow, animals in snow, snowing, blizzard, etc etc. Feel free to browse if you don‘t bedieve it.

So please, please be original and creative! Please convey the idea, the feeling, the atmosphere, but not just a field full of snow you snapshoted with you phone while taking your dog out. Same guidelines obtain for Christmas theme, too.


People and animals. This group is dedicated to the season, not to the portraits of your beloved pets or humans. If it’s a portrait, it should represent the winter theme, but not “that’s me/my girl/my boy/my friend/my Milo/ in the winter”. Person (or animal) might be part of the shot, but not the center of it (talking not about geometry, but about an idea, of course).

Good quality. We want good quality shots. No blurry ones, with a straight horizon line, not too noisy.

So, in conclusion: we want original, creative and good quality shots we did not seen before. So come on out and get some creative fun! We are waiting for your great shots here!
