Inktober Day 6: Domovoi and His Little Stash

Domovoi is a small house spirit who lives in every person's house across the world, usually in a room that is least used by everyone, such as the cellar. Anyone who is Russian already knows about him. When something gets lost in the house, like a pair of keys or a piece of jewelry, Domovoi is often the culprit! We say that he steals things when people become mean and disrespectful to one another in the house, but when they reconcile, the lost object suddenly appears. As a child, I always imagined him huddled inside a crack in a wall wearing a cassock. Don't ask me why! #inktober2015 #inktober
