Description
Wallen Fire Territory Station 2 is located on the eastern side of the city and serves as the headquarters for the territory. Station is staffed 24/7 by 7 firefighters. During office hours it is home the chief, and 2 administrative assistants. Station 2 is home to Engine 13-2, Rescue 13-22, Truck 13-1, Engine 13-11, Battalion 13, and Car 1301.
Engine 13-2: (1500gpm/750gal) This Engine is staffed with 3 personnel 24/7. It is the first out unit for all fire incidents.
Rescue 13-22: This trucks unique paint scheme was done to pay homage to the local high school, whose team colors are orange and black. This trucks is staffed 24/7 with 3 personnel. It serves as the primary heavy rescue for the territory. It responds 1st due to all EMS, vehicle accidents, and rescue calls from station 2.
Truck 13-1: (1500gpm/300gal) This Truck serves as the primary aerial device for Wallen. It is cross staffed by Rescue 13-22. It responds to building fires within the territory and all non-residential fire alarms. In the event when both the rescue and ladder are needed on an incident, the crew of Engine 13-2 will respond with the ladder.
Engine 13-11 (Ex E13-2): (750gal/1000gpm) This Unit serves as the primary reserve engine. It is also used for training classes hosted by the department.
Battalion 13: this unit is staffed by the battalion chief. It responds to all major calls within the territory.
Car 1301: This is the personal vehicle of the fire chief. It is used for official business only.
