Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 9

 Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 9 is located on the northwestern side of Ocean City and protects a large area consisting of commercial and industrial buildings. Station is staffed by 10 firefighters and 4 rescue paramedics. Station 9 is home to Engine 9, Ladder 9, Tactical 9, Rescue 9, and Rescue Medic 9. Station 9 is part of battalion 3. 

Engine 9: (750gal/1500gpm) Staffed by 4 firefighters, this unit is the primary suppression unit from this station. It is equipped with a small compliment of industrial rescue equipment in addition to standard engine equipment. 

Ladder 9: (300gal/1500gpm) Ladder 9 is staffed by 4 firefighters and responds throughout the 3rd battalion for various fires and alarms.

Tactical 9: (300gal/500gpm) while this truck is one of the older units in service, a 2016 refurbishment transformed this unit. a pump and tank was added in addition to replacement of lights and body work update. this unit now responds to all medical calls and nuisance fires. This unit staffed by 2 firefighters with at least one being paramedic staffed. 

Rescue 9: Cross staffed by the crew of Ladder 9, this unit responds to all MVA's with entrapment and industrial/technical rescue calls within battalion 3. 

Rescue medic 9: This unit is staffed with specialty trained paramedics who are trained in technical rescue.
