Description
Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 25 is located on the far northeast side of Ocean City. Staffed 6 firefighters, this stations of a large rural area with many properties that sit far off of the road. Station 25 is home to Squad 25, Tanker 25, and Tactical 25.
Squad 25 (1500gpm/750gal) Due to how far this station is from other stations, OCFR replaced engine 26 with this unit. Between Tac 25 and this unit, the can operate as an Extrication task force in this rural area.
Tanker 25: (1000gpm/3000gal) Due to limited hydrants in the area, this unit is staffed by squad 24 when needed.
Tac 25: (1250gpm/400gal) This unit responds first out to most calls from station 25, due to its small size, It can act as a convention engine on fires where access is limited.
