Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 23

Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 23 is located on the eastern side of Ocean City in the small village of Valley Mills. This very popular tourist and vacation destination is right inside of the city limits and is located just outside of the south entrance to Falcon Creek Park. Station 23 is staffed with 10 firefighters and 2 EMS personnel. Station 23 is home to Engine 23, Ladder 23, Brush 23, Battalion 23 and Medic 23. 

Engine 23: (2000gal/1750gpm) This engine is staffed 24/7 by 4 firefighters. This unit is equipped with a larger tank due to the limited number of hydrants within the district. 

Ladder 23: (300gal/1500gpm) Ladder 23 is staffed by 4 firefighters and responds throughout the district for various fires and alarms.

Brush 23: (400gal/250gpm) Cross staffed by Engine 23, this unit responds to vegetation fires and calls in and around Valley Mills and the southern
portion of Falcon Creek Park. 

Battalion 23: Staffed by 1 Battalion Chief and 1 Captain, Battalion 3 responds to all major incidents within the battalion. Battalion 23 is made of up Station 12, Station 19, Station 20, Station 23, and Station 25. 

Medic 23: Staffed with 1 paramedic and 1 EMT, this unit responds to all EMS calls within the district.
