Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 18

Ocean City Fire/Rescue Station 18 is located on the campus of the Public Safety Education Center in southwest Ocean City. Station 18 protects a developing portion of rural Ocean City. Station 18 is home to Engine 18, Decon 18, Ladder 18, Battalion 18, Medic 18, and EMS LT. 3. Station 18 is staffed by 8 firefighters and 3 paramedics.

Engine 18: (1500gpm/500gal) This engine is staffed with 4 firefighters and responds to a majority of calls from station 18.

Decon 18: Cross staffed by ladder 18, this unit responds to all hazardous material calls within the city. 

Ladder 18: Staffed with 4 firefighters, this unit responds to all fires on the west side.

Battalion 18: Staffed by 1 Battalion Chief and 1 Captain, Battalion 3 responds to all major incidents within the battalion. Battalion 18 is made of up Station 7, Station 17, Station 18, Station 21, and Station 24. 

Medic 18: Staffed with 2 paramedics, this unit responds to all EMS calls within the district.

EMS district 3: This EMS Lieutenant is the supervisor for Medic 7, Medic 18, and Medic 24.
