Description
Completed in 1998, Firehouse 93 protects southwestern Oakdale and portions of Interstate 284. It is currently home to Engine 93, Ladder 93, and the MCI Trailer (Tactical 93).
Engine 93 covers a mainly residential area with a small commercial area. Due to its close proximity to ocean city engine 93 can occasionally be seen as mutual aid with OCFR.
Ladder 93 is the only frontline bucket truck with OFD. It runs on most fire calls with engine 93.
Tactical 93 is the mass casualty unit within Warrick County. It responds throughout the region on MCI incidents and can be seen with Ocean City EMS Rescue 1 on major calls.
