Description
New Cambridge Fire Department is located on the eastern side of Magley County. NCFD (also known as station 9) is a combination department the staffs a career crew of 5 24/7 and a supplement of 25 volunteers. Station 9 is home to Squad 91, Tanker 91, Ladder 91, Brush 91, Medic 91, RA 91, Tanker 91, and Battalion 9.
Squad 91: 1500gpm/1000gal/30A: This unit responds first out of all MVCs, technical rescue and medical calls. It also responds as a second due engine when other apparatus are out.
Tanker 91: 1500gpm/2000gal: While this unit is designated as a tanker, this unit primarily responds as first out engine for most fires within the city limits. this unit also responds as the first out unit for all mutual aid fire calls.
Ladder 91: 1500gpm/500gal: this unit responds first due to all commercial alarms and fires within the city.
Brush 91: 200gpm/300gal this unit responds first out all brush and ground fires in the city. It is also called to assist neighboring departments on a regular basis.
Medic 91: This truck serves as the primary ambulance for the city and is staffed to the paramedic level 24/7.
RA 91: This unit serves as the primary backup ambulance for the city. this unit can be staffed at the ALS or BLS level by volunteers as needed. this unit also serves as a special event truck for the city.
Tanker 93: 750gpm/3000gal: this tanker is usually the second out tanker behind tanker 91. it does respond with brush 91 to all rural wildland fires.
Battalion 9: During normal office hours, this unit is staffed with an administrative chief, but after hours this unit is staffed with volunteer or on call officers. It can also serve as a EMS chase unit as needed.
