Description
Murray Township Emergency Services Station 21 is located on the eastern side of Magley County. MTES is a combination department that protects the unincorporated areas of Murray township that surrounds the city of New Cambridge. Station 21 is located on the north side of the township and has 3 staff members on staff 24/7. They are supplemented by 15 volunteers. Station 21 is home to Engine 21, Ladder 21, Tanker 21, and the County EMA's Mobile Communication unit. EMS services are provided by Magley County EMS.
Engine 21: 1500gpm/1000gal Engine 21 is first due for fires, rescue and all BLS/ALS calls. Engine 21 carries a full set of extrication tools, along with a full complement of EMS equipment in addition to standard engine company tools
Ladder 21: 1500gpm/300gal Ladder 21 serves as the primary aerial device in the township. It had a major refurb of the unit in 2005.
Tanker 21: 475gpm/200gal Tanker 21 responds to all fires in nonhydranted areas. It can also serve as a second out pumper as needed.
Mobile Communications Unit: While this unit is owned by the county EMA, this unit is operated and maintained by MTES. This unit responds to all major incidents and is automatically dispatched to all hazardous material calls.
