Maple Creek is located just northwest of Fort Harrison in Cass County. First established in 1912, Maple Creek Fire Department (Base 90) provides Fire, Tactical Rescue and ALS protection to approximately 35,000 residents across nearly 46 square miles for Maple Creek and surrounding Carroll Township with a roster of 11 paid full time members and 35 volunteers. Base 90 is home to Engine 91, Engine 92, Tanker 93, Medic 95(ALS), Emergency 95-2 (BLS with ALS capabilities), Squad 96, Truck 97, Grass Rig 99, Fire 91, Reserve Engine 90, and a mobile cascade unit.
