Hamilton Fire/Rescue Station 6

Located in the south central portion of the district, this all volunteer station is located in a primarily residential and commercial area. Due to the close proximity to Station 1 and Station 7, Station 6 does not have its own 1st due district. Rather, station 6 serves as a secondary response station. Station 6 has a staff of 15 volunteers. Station 6 is home to Engine 6, Squad 6, Tanker 6, and Ambulance 6. 

Engine 6:  (1500gpm/750gal) Engine 6 responds first out to residential and vehicle fires. It also serves as a secondary reserve engine when needed. 

Squad 6: (0gpm/0gal/50lb CAFS) Squad 6 responds first out to most calls from station 6. It is equipped with a mobile cascade system and CAFS system for small fires. Squad 6 responds as a mobile cascade unit to all working fires within the district. 

Tanker 6: (1000gpm/2600gal) Tanker 6 responds second to all structure fires from station 6. It also responds on the initial dispatch to vehicle fires on the interstate for Station 1 and 7. 

Ambulance 6: This Ambulance is designed to serve at the BLS level. During inclement weather or a high volume of calls, volunteers will staff this unit. It can also serve as a reserve ambulance as needed.
