Description
Located on the southwestern side of the district, Hamilton Fire/Rescue Station 1 covers a primarily residential and light industrial area just north of city limits. With a daily staff of 5 and supplemented by 10 volunteers, this station is home to Engine 1, Ambulance 1, Ladder 1, and Brush 1.
Engine 1: (1500gpm/750gal) Staffed with 3 personnel daily, this unit responds first out to most fire incidents from station 1. It responds first out to Vehicle crashes, Residential fire alarms, and EMS assists.
Ambulance 1: Staffed with 2 EMTs, This BLS ambulance responds to all EMS calls from station. It also is the primary ambulance to the terminal at Centralia International airport.
Ladder 1: (1500gpm/350gal) Ladder 1 is staffed by the paid crew or volunteers depending on the nature of the call. It responds first out to commercial fire alarms and building fires from station 1.
Brush 1: (300gpm/400gal) Brush 1 responds first out to all brush and vegetation fires, it can also respond as a manpower transport/EMS assist unit.
