Grapeseed Vol. Fire Dept.

Grapeseed Vol. Fire Dept. is an all volunteer fire department that protects Grapeseed, Mount Gordo, The San Chianski Mountain Range, Bradock Pass, and portions of Mount Chiliad. Grapeseed VFD is home to Engine 3, Forestry 3, Brush 3, Rescue 3, and Tanker 3.

Engine 3: E-3 responds firstdue for all fires in town. It also responds second due and all MVCs.

Forestry 3: F-3 responds to all brush fires. It is first due in for fires in the mountains and second due for all other fires. It also has the capabilities to act as a second tanker if needed

Brush 3: B-3 responds to all brush fires. It is first due in for fires in open areas and second due for forestry fires.

Rescue 3: R-3 responds to all MVCs and rescue calls. Its 4x4 capabilities allows it easily respond to mountain rescue calls.

Tanker 3: Tk 3 Responds second due all building fires and third due for wildland fires. It can act as an engine as needed.
