Frankton Fire Department Station 11

Frankton Fire Department Station 11 is located directly next to city hall in downtown Frankton. Station 11 serves as an all volunteer station for FFD. 20 volunteers operate out of station 11 and supplement the career staff at station 10. Station 11 is home to Engine 11, Ambulance 11, Dive 11, and Support 11. Additionally, the Fire Chief operates out of city hall and parks his vehicle at station 11. 

Engine 11: (1750gpm/750gal) Engine 11 responds first out to all calls from station 11. It is equipped with a battery powered extrication combi-tool. 

Ambulance 11: (ex MD10) Ambulance 11 serves as a back-up/reserve ambulance for FFD. It is equipped to the BLS and ca respond when MD11 is not available. 

Dive 11: (ex AM11) This former ambulance was converted by members of the department into a custom dive rescue unit. This unit responds to all water rescues in Frankton and Aspen Shores. 

Support 11: (ex RS10) With the arrival of the new Rescue 10, this unit was converted into a tactical support unit for FFD. Support 10 is equipped with a mobile cascade system, extra cribbing and shoring equipment, and hydrocarbon spill equipment. Support 10 responds second out to all fires and MVA's from station 11. 

Fire 10: This unit serves as the fire chiefs take home vehicle and responds to all major calls.
