Frankton Fire Department Station 10

The town of Frankton is located in northeastern corner of Delmar county on the coast of the Arden Sea. Frankton Fire Department is a combination department made up of 13 career personnel, 20 part-time employees, and 20 volunteers. Station 10 serves as the staffed station for FFD with a crew of 6 on duty 24/7. FFD provides fire, rescue, dive operations, and advanced life support services to a population of 8,000 in 28 square miles. FFD also provided ALS services to the town of Aspen Shores immediately to the south. Station 10 is home to Engine 10, Medic 10, Rescue 10, Brush 10, Tanker 10, and Battalion 10. 

Engine 10: (1500gpm/980gal) Engine 10 is staffed with 3 personnel and responds to most fire calls from station 10. 

Medic 10: Staffed to the paramedic level 24/7, Medic 10 responds to all medical calls from station 10. Medic 10 is also equipped with SCBAs and firefighting equipment. 

Rescue 10: Cross staffed by Engine 10, Rescue 10 responds first out to all vehicle crashes and rescue calls. It is equipped with a full complement of extrication tools and some commonly used technical rescue equipment. 

Brush 10: (250gpm/260gal) Brush 10 is cross staffed by Engine 10. This truck responds first out to all vegetation fires. 

Tanker 10: (1000gpm/4000gal) Tanker 10 is cross staffed by Medic 10. Tanker 10 responds to all fires where water supply is limited. 

Battalion 10: Staffed by the battalion chief, Battalion 10 responds to all major calls for Frankton.
