Denver Township Fire Department is located in the northeastern portion of Magley county. DTFD provides Fire, Rescue and EMS Services to approximately 30,000 residents in a thirty-three square mile area. Three fire stations protect a mixed residential, rural and commercial district. The department is staffed with 64 paid professional firefighters and paramedics. Station 71 is home to Engine 71, Ladder 71, Medic 71, Battalion 70. Immediately adjacent to Station 71 is the department headquarters. All of DTFD's admin, training and logistics personnel are based out of this building. Car 701 (Fire Chief), Car 702 (Assistant Chief), PIO 70, Investigator 70, The training division van, and logistics stakebed all are based out of headquarters
Engine 71: (1500gpm/500gal) Engine 71 carries a full set of extrication tools and responds with ladder 71 as an extrication task force. It is staffed with 4 firefighters.
Ladder 71: (0gpm/0gal) This unit serves as both the heavy rescue and aerial device for Denver Township. It also responds throughout the northeastern portion of the county as requested. It is staffed by 3 firefighters.
Medic 71: This ALS ambulance remains one of the busiest units in the county. It is staffed 2 personnel, with at least on being a paramedic.
Battalion 70: this unit serves as the shift commander for Denver township. It responds to all major calls within the township.
Cart 70: (250gal/50gpm) this unit responds only as requested. It is usually pulled by the logistics truck or BC70. The unit is then staffed by initial responding crews.
Car 701: This unit serves as the take home vehicle for the fire chief
Car 702: This unit serves as the take home vehicle for the assistant fire chief. It is stocked to the ALS level and can respond as needed to major incidents.
PIO 70: This unit serves as the take home vehicle for the Public Information Officer.
Investigator 70: This it the take home car for the Fire Marshall/Fire Investigator.
Training van: This unit serves the training division as a recruit transport vehicle.
Logistics stakebed: this unit serves the departments logistics division. It also serves as DTFD's snowplow for the winter.
