Dartown Fire Department Station 91

Dartown Fire Department Station 91 is located just west of the main passenger Terminal at Dartown International Airport. Station 91 protects the land side facilities at Dartown International Airport. That includes all businesses that operate at the airport and a half mile circle around the airport. Station 91 is staffed with 15 personnel and is home to Engine 91, Squad 91, Ladder 91, Battalion 9, Crash 91-1, Crash 91-2, Quick Attack 91, Foam 91, and Crash 91-3. Station 91 serves as the headquarters for the airport battalion.

Engine 91: (2000gpm/720gal/30gal) Staffed with 4 personnel, Engine 91 responds 1st out to all non-medical calls from statin 91. While considered a standard engine company, EG91 carries some specialized equipment required for airport emergencies.

Squad 91: (1500gpm/300gal) Squad 91 is staffed with 3 personnel and responds to all EMS calls on the land-side areas of the airport and surrounding properties. Squad 91 also responds as a grass rig to fires on airport property. While this unit is equipped with a bumper turret, Squad 91 does not respond to aircraft fires.

Ladder 91: (1500gpm/400gal) Staffed with 4 personnel, this unit serves as a standard ladder company within the airport battalion. while equipped with a functional pump and tank, LD91 also fills the role of an engine when needed.

Battalion 9: BC9 oversees daily operations at the airport. it responds on most non-EMS calls.

Crash 91-1 and 91-2: (1950gpm/3000gal/420gal foam/500lbs PKP) Crash 91-1 and 91-2 are identical units. both staffed with one operator, these units rotate weekly who is the first unit for ARFF incidents.

Quick Attack 91: (40gal CAFS) This unit was purpose built to responds to vehicles in the airport's vast parking garage network. Its 40gal CAFS tank is capable of producing up to 800 U.S. gallons of finished foam. This unit is cross staffed by ladder 91 on vehicle fire calls and is equipped with the basic materials needed to attack a vehicle fire.

Foam 91: This unit's primary role is to shuttle foam crates from the department warehouse to the airport stations to refill apparatus. This unit can also transport large quantities of foam of airport property for large incidents.

Crash 91-3: (750gpm/1500gal/210 gal foam/ 450lbs PKP) (ex CR91-2) This unit previously served as a frontline unit and now serves as a training/ready reserve unit. It also is the first ARFF unit to respond off airport grounds when an ARFF unit is requested.
