Dartown Fire Department Station 29

Dartown Fire Department Station 29 is located just south of downtown Dartown. Located on the northern edge of Raymond Park, this busy firehouse is home to four frontline apparatus and the city's Urban Search and Rescue Team. Station 29 is staffed with 13 personnel and is home to Engine 29, Squad 29, Ladder 29, Medic 29, and Air 29. Station 29 is part of the 5th battalion.

Engine 29: (2000gpm/500gal) This busy engine company serves is equipped as a standard function engine. It is staffed with 4.

Squad 29: (1500gpm/300gal) ALS Rescue Squads are located in high-run districts to relieve the Engine Companies from responding to EMS calls where additional manpower is not needed. Squads are staffed by one FF/EMT and one Paramedic.

Ladder 29: Staffed with 4, this busy ladder company covers a large area for structure fires. It is staffed with 4

Medic 29: Staffed with a paramedic 24/7 this bust ambulance covers much of the south side of downtown.

Air 29: Air 29 responds to all working fires and hazmat incidents. The firefighter assigned to Air 29 are also certified SCBA technicians and are responsible for all SCBA repairs. Air 29 is equipped with a 3 bottle fill station and over 80 SCBA bottles. It also is equipped with an air cart for special operations call.
