Dartown Fire Department Station 28

Dartown Fire Department Station 28 is located in the far northeast corner of the city in a mainly residential area along Dobbin Reservoir. With a daily staffing of 4, Station 28 is home to Engine 28 and Boat 28. Station 28 is part of the 12th Battalion.

Engine 28: (1500gpm/500gal) Engine 28 is staffed with 4 personnel and serves as a standard function engine. EG28 is staffed 24/7 with a paramedic since the nearest ambulance is coming from station 9, 17, or 40.

Boat 28: Boat 28 is one of three top water rescue units in the city. These units are strategically placed near target hazards to provide a rapid water rescue response. With Dobbin reservoir being nearby, 28s was a prime location for this unit. Boat 28 is equipped with a RIB and a 25HP motor. It is also equipped with a RDC for ice rescues in addition to wet and dry suits, rope bags and other water rescue equipment. Boat 28 is staffed by Engine 28.
