Dartown Fire Department Station 19

Dartown Fire Department Station 19 is located immediately south west of downtown. Station 19s area is a primarily industrial area including a large bio-chemical research and manufacturing park. Station 19 also protects portions of 2 major interstates. Station 19 is staffed with 8 personnel and is home to Engine 9, Ladder 19, Foam 19, and Decon 19. Station 19 is part of the 7th Battalion.

Engine 19: (2000gpm/500gal) Engine 19 is staffed with 4 personnel. EG19 responds to most fire calls and EMS calls from station 19. It is equipped as a standard engine company.

Ladder 19: This ladder company stays busy responding to alarms, but also has a small set of extrication tools for interstate wrecks.

Foam 19: (2000gpm/300gal/300gal foam) Foam 19 is cross staffed by Engine 19. This unit will respond to all alarms and fires at a number of high risk facilities in the 19s first due. It also serves as the central foam truck and will respond to tanker and fuel fires.

Decon 19: Cross staffed by Ladder 19, this unit responds to all Hazmat incidents on the south and west sides of the city. It is equipped to decontaminate over 100 ambulatory people per hour.
