Dartown Fire Department Station 18

Dartown Fire Department Station 18 is located on the near west side of Dartown. Station 18 protects a mainly residential area with some medium industrial areas. With a daily staffing on 8 personnel, station 18 is home to Engine 18, Medic 18, Safety 3, Air 18, and Foam 18. Station 18 is part of the 7th battalion.

Engine 18: (2000gpm/500gal) Staffed with 4 personnel, EG18 serves as a standard engine company.

Medic 18: This Paramedic unit is staffed 24/7 and covers all of 18s area and portions of 1's,13's and 19s area.

Safety 3: Staffed with a Captain, Safety Officers responds to all fires, major crashes and specialty rescue calls in the downtown and near west sides. Safety Officers also respond to any incidents on highways and interstates as a blocking apparatus.

Air 13: Staffed with 1 firefighter, Air 18 responds to all working fires and hazmat incidents. The firefighter assigned to Air 18 are also certified SCBA technicians and are responsible for all SCBA repairs. Air 18 is equipped with a 3 bottle fill station and over 80 SCBA bottles. It also is equipped with an air cart for special operations calls

Foam 18: (0gpm/0gal/990gal foam) Cross staffed by Engine 18, Foam 18 responds to any industrial and tanker fires on the western side of Dartown. on major incidents Foam 18 is part of the foam task force.
