Dartown Fire Department Station 14

Dartown Fire Department Station 14 is located just north of downtown. Station 14 is affectionately known as Kenwood Forest. Station 14 has called this location home since 1895. The coverage area of Station 14 is approx. 30 square miles of Battalion 3. Station 14 is staffed daily with 15 personnel and is home to Engine 14, Ladder 14, Squad 14, Boat 14, and Rescue 2.

Engine 7 (2000gpm/500gal): Engine 7 is staffed daily with 4. It is equipped and responds as a standard engine company. Since no ambulance is located at station 14, Engine 14 is staffed with a paramedic at all times.

Ladder 14: Ladder one is staffed with 4 personnel. Ladder 14 covers a larger district for fires and is one of the busiest ladders from a fire standpoint.

Squad 14: (1000gpm/300gal) Staffed with 2 personnel SQ14 responds first out to all EMS calls. In addition, Squad 14 supplements Rescue 2. With its water and pump, Squad 14 also responds to small fires and can serve as a grass rig in a pinch.

Boat 7: Rescue 2 serves as the primary dive team for the north side of Dartown. When need boat 14 is towed by squad 14 to assist rescue 2

Rescue 2: Rescue 2 is one of only 2 fully staffed heavy rescues in the city. Rescue 2 is staffed with 5 personnel. Rescue one responds to all working fires, vehicle crashes with entrapments, all technical rescue incidents (rope, water, dive, collapse, etc.) Rescue 2 personnel report to battalion 1.
