Description
Clark Twp. Fire Department is located in the northeastern corner of Kennedy County. Clark Twp. Fire Department is an all volunteer department that provides fire, rescue, and medical first responder coverage to all of Clark township and the town of Stevenson. CTFD is home to Engine 3-1, Pumper 3-3, Tanker 3-4, Squad 3-6, Truck 3-7, Rescue 3-8, Brush 3-9, and Kennedy County EMS Medic 4.
Engine 3-1: E3-1 is the first out apparatus for all fire runs in the Town and first out for all Motor Vehicle Crashes. It is equipped with a full set of extrication tools.
Pump 3-3: P3-3 is first out for all fires in the non-hydranted areas of Clark Township. It also responds first out for all mutual aid fires.
Tanker 3-4: T3-4 is second-out for all fires in the non-hydranted areas.
Squad 3-6: S3-6 responds first out for all medical assists and vehicle fires. It also responds second out on all vegetation fires.
Truck 3-7: T3-7 Responds second out for all fires in town. It also responds second out on all mutual aid fires.
Rescue 3-8: R3-8 responds to all vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, water rescues, Haz-Mat incidents and fire calls. It is equipped with a cascade system and a full compliment of extrication tools.
Brush 3-9: B3-9 is the first out apparatus for brush, grass, and field fires.
Medic 4: M4 provides ALS coverage to the majority of the northeastern portion of Kennedy county.
