Bellmore Fire Rescue

Bellmore Fire Rescue is a combination part-time/volunteer department on the eastern side of Epler County. BFD provide fire, rescue, and ALS  the town of Bellmore and unincorporated Lewis and Carson Townships. BFD has a daily staffing of 3 personnel on duty. These crews are supplemented by 25 volunteers. BFD is home to Engine 7, Engine 7-2, Rescue 7, Tanker 7, Ambulance 7, Ambulance 7-2, Grass 7, ALS 7, and Command 7.

Engine 7: (1500gpm/1000gal) This engine responds first out to all fire calls within Bellmore. This engine is considered a "city engine", but also responds to fires in the rural areas.

Engine 7-2: (ex EG7) (1250gpm/1000gal) Engine 7-2 responds to all fires in the rural areas and responds first out to mutual aid requests. This unit previously served as the first out unit to all calls prior to the arrival of engine 7.

Rescue 7:  (1500gpm/750gal) While the unit looks like an engine, It is fully equipped for rescue operations. This unit responds first out to all vehicle crashes and can serve as a back up engine.

Tanker 7: (500gpm/2500gal) Tanker 7 responds to all to fires in rural areas. It also responds second out to brush fires.

Ambulance 7: Staffed with 2 EMTs 24/7 this truck responds to all EMS calls in the coverage area.

Ambulance 7-2 (ex AM7) Prior to the arrival of AM7, this unit was the only ambulance, It now serves as a ready reserve/ second ambulance for EMS calls.

Brush 7: (250gpm/300gal) This unit responds first out to all vegetation fires. It also responds frequently to mutual aid fires.

ALS 7: Staffed 24/7 with a paramedic ALS 7 provides ALS coverage all of Bellmore's coverage area, but also has an agreement with with western potion of Martz County.

Command 7: This is will respond with a volunteer officer to serve as the command unit for major incidents.
