Bedford Volunteer Fire Department Station 1

Bedford Volunteer Fire Department is located in the south-western portion of Kennedy County BVFD is an all volunteer fire department composed of two stations providing fire, rescue and BLS first responder protection to 2,700 residents and all 60 square miles of Webster and Cook Townships. Station 1 is home to Engine 2-1, Rescue 2-4, Tanker 2-5, and Brush 2-8.

Engine 2-1: E 2-1 responds first out for all fire calls from station 1. it responds second out for all MVC's from station 1. 

Rescue 2-4: R 2-4 responds first out to all MVC's and responds to all rescue calls in Bedford. 

Tanker 2-5: T 2-5 responds second out to all fire calls from station 1

Brush 2-8: B 2-6 responds first out for all vegetation fires and responds first out to medical calls as well.
