The town of Aspen Shores is located in eastern Delmar County on the shores of the Arden Sea. Aspen Shores Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer fire department made up of 20 volunteers who cover a five square mile area with a population of 3400. ASVFD (Station 25) is home to Engine 25, Engine 25-1, Squad 25, and Tanker 25. EMS coverage is provided by Frankton Fire/Rescue through automatic aid agreements.
Engine 25: (1750gpm/1000gal/20A foam) Engine 25 runs first out on all fires and second for MVA's. Its equipment includes a light tower on the roof of the cab.
Engine 25-1: (1250gpm/1000gal) Engine 25-1 runs second-out on fire calls in hydrant areas and first on all mutual aid calls for an Engine company.
Squad 25: ( 500gpm/300gal/30A/30B foam) Squad 25 responds first-due for all brush fires and MVA's. It carries a set of extrication tools and a generator. This squad is also BLS non-transport certified and runs first out on all medical calls in Aspen Shores.
Tanker 25: (1000gpm/2000gal) Tanker 25 runs second out on all fire calls in non hydrant areas and first out on all tanker mutual aid calls.
