Huaxiaosaurus, the Ornithopod Titan

Huaxiaosaurus aigahtens, a saurolophine ornithopod so large that it just plain screws over the popular mainstream notion of large ornithopods being easy prey for theropods.

At over 15 metres long and likely more than 16 tonnes in mass, it was among the largest terrestrial non-sauropodomorph animals that ever lived, dwarfing and dominating over the tyrannosaurids that it coexisted with.
