I've been very busy for the past 2 years doing work for Dynamite Entertainment's Flash Gordon, Solar: Man of the Atom, Mandrake the Magician. I also worked with the Image comic book Thrilling Adventure Hour: Sparks Nevada, and a lot of Zenescope titles. Now I got free time to do commissions, I'm opening a few slots. For interested parties, please send me a note for my rates and follow me at: www.facebook.com/comicbookcolo…

Thanks!

Hi all!

It's been a long time since I last updated my journal. Been very busy lately with a bunch of projects and preparing for my trip to the U.S.
Anyway... if you want to say hi to me in person, please drop by table 2908 at NYCC '13. I'll be also attending the Alamo City Comic Con in San Antonio, Texas on Oct 25-27, 2013 for a few signings and maybe sketching ( yeah...I can draw. lol ).

So wish me luck on my trip and I hope to see you there in those events.

Hi all!

Thanks for watching and "fav-ing" my colored works here. As you all know, I color professionally nowadays. I would appreciate it if you would do some research or read my profile carefully before offering me work. I hate low ball offers, back-end deals, and worst... coloring for free.  Sorry, I don't have time for those.

Always remember that we all, here on deviant art studied, research, and spend money to acquire the skills / techniques we use in our artwork. On a final note: My services are not free but I always offer the best deals for pro quality artwork.

Thanks for reading!

Hi everyone!

It been quite a blast for the last two months career wise. I'm now working as a 2d concept artist for a Seattle based video game company. Been working with them as a regular for almost 2 months now and I should say, I'm really loving it. Learned how to paint and that's another upgrade on my skills as a digital colorist.

I still accept commissions in comic book sequentials, pin-ups and character designs. Up and coming artist can also collaborate with me. Just send me a note if interested.

I need more practice on digital painting so I guess I'll be working on that style on the newest commissions. Don't worry about the price, it's still affordable and yeah...pro material.

Hello guys!

These are some important reminders on how much it will cost, how long will it take and if I'm available for freelance work :

1. Nowadays, I don't give prices on how much is my rate per pin-up or comic book page. I'll ASK YOU how much is your budget and how long is the deadline. Offer me a price that's EQUAL to what I'm offering you. I studied, practiced for years to acquire my skills. I did not get it overnight you know.

2. I usually work on a project for 1 - 2 weeks. Quality is what I'm offering you and not rushed work like what you see in other artists' work.

3. I'm available for commissions unless I post a journal saying that I'm not available.

Please send me notes IF AND ONLY IF YOU ARE 100% SURE of hiring me. Please lets not waste time and energy writing back and forth then suddenly deciding to back down.

P.S.

Just stumbled upon this letter on the jobs forum. Please read it.

I totally agree with the writer. Artists such as myself didn't acquire our skills overnight. We studied, practice for years to become what we are now.

Now...show some respect.

Re-invention

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 1, 2011, 2:50 AM
Hi there friends and watchers!

Nearing my 35th year to walk in this earth, I decided to re-invent myself. I think I'm bored with my usual art style and I guess its time to bring in the new set of skills I learned from each and everyone of you guys here in dA.

I'll be focusing more on digital coloring and set aside other things I've done in the past. I'll also be deleting some of my past works which I think is not worth looking at.

Hang on to your seats and I promise you that this will be a real treat for your eyes!

Thanks for reading!
