Corrected Crash screenshot by SpiderTrekfan616 Corrected Crash screenshot by SpiderTrekfan616
Explanation for this deviation: I noticed in a screenshot of the Crash scene that the Registry number was backwards, There's a reason for that error, The producers used a mirror during the filming of the crash scene and they probably forgot to invert the footage to compensate for the use of the mirror during the filming. The reason why they used a mirror is because it keeps the camera out of harms way while still achieving the desired shot, of course the mirror was shattered during the filming.
Here's the original version.

The Enterprise-D was destroyed by an obsolete Klingon Bird-of-Prey in the Seventh Star Trek Movie, Nothing after the battle shown in the movie is considered canon to me. Here's the Entire Crash.
