This is how I envision the Captain's Chair looking in Star Trek Castaways, I may make some updates such as panels to access the inside of the chair's consoles, when I was designing it I wanted to evoke the qualities of Some of the Captain's Chairs used on TOS and TNG, I'll list them.
- TOS Chair Similarities: It is boxy and has physical Buttons as well as an intercom (The Latter Two haven't been modelled in yet.)
- TNG Chair Similarities: It has an inclined backrest and Padded Armrests for comfort, I briefly considered putting in the flip consoles but I decided against it due to my lack of modelling prowess.
- First Contact-Nemesis Chair Similarities: It's base lights up, The other Bridge chairs will not have lights installed in their stands.
- Kelvin Timeline Enterprise Similarities: Will have seatbelts reserved for when the Artificial Gravity fails, All other Bridge chairs will have seatbelts as well. I know what you're thinking, Battle stations or crash landings should call for seatbelts, however if they were buckled in the G Forces from a Torpedo blast or Crash landing would cause some nasty (Possibly even deadly) whiplash and the seats would be ripped out of the floor.
