***Regarding the Featured folder. I have no qualms regarding contributors dropping items into the featured folder at their leisure such as comic pages they're proud of, kickstarter announcement, and update notifications... However I will be periodically "cleaning out" those sorts of items. Comic pages will be moved to that folder, whereas time sensitive announcements such as kickstarters and updates will be removed completely from the folder.

Cobweb as it is affectionately known is now a consolidated site containing not only our news and comic offerings but also our forum replacement the Hub!

Not sure if I answered this or not, because it's still in my queue (And so sorry for not getting back to you sooner).  We are going to be having another application season in August, unless policy gets changed.  I will be sure to keep the news updated here on DA or you can follow monthly news by checking out www.spiderforest.com

Yes Spiderforest is a small collective - or a gathering of like minded creators with similar personal and professional webcomicking goals.

We're somewhere between Comic Fury and Hiveworks.  :P
