The Mountain Prince and his beloved

Prince Afua is the second cub of King Malka and Queen Kula of the Mountain Pride not far from the Pridelands. Scar broke alliances with The Mountain Pride during his reign, King Simba and King Malka both agreed a good way to amend the bond politically was to marry off Afua to Princess Kiara. The two never liked the idea of their betrothal, Afua and Kiara contrasted greatly and ultimately ended the betrothal with the princess taking the Kovu as her king instead. Afua was not the least heartbroken, he in fact was happy to see his childhood friend married to a lion she loved. At the wedding celebration, a lioness in the crowd of lions caught the prince’s eye. She was all white and missing an eye, she was Mfupa- formerly the light devil and a daughter of Scar. For the young prince, it was at first sight and he had his mind set on making her his first queen. After weeks of courtship she accepts his proposal and leaves the Pridelands with Afua to train as a consort.

I finally made a design for him, he resembles more of his father’s side than he does his mother’s but don’t worry he’s got some Kula in em, someday I’ll showcase my designs of Malka and Kula together maybe with little Afua. Dunno why I’ve been putting off the design for a year but I’m glad I finally sucked it up and drew em)
