Jim Starling in Darkwing Duck 1991 style

Did my best using some screenshot references to make sure I got his mandible right in conveying his flat mandible compared to Drake's mandible.

More like an a character art study in seeing how similar Jim's appearance is to the actual Drake Mallard in the og show.

This was done in earnest and I still feel like I didn't accurate catch jim's flat mandible while attempting to make him passing but not quite passing for Drake Mallard who could easily pass for him in DuckTales if he had to.

I also should note I used reference for flat mandibles from adopt-a-con in the process of jim's lower mandible being drawn which is why I uploaded a screenshot from the show as it was part of the creative process before settling on drawing the mandible the way I did.

I was very focused on not drawing the chin the way that I usually do because it's not in the dt17 reboot style because doing that would make him look like Drake Mallard like a lot. like dead ringer rather than himself.
