The arrival of a banished God

After re-awakening, Mata Nui in his giant robot form stood up again. Standing 40,000,000 feet tall, it felt good being awake after spending thousands of years sleeping. Mata Nui could feel his people inside of him, the Matoran and Toa celebrating the re-awakening of Mata Nui, the Toa Nuva and Toa mahri had fulfilled their duties of re-awakening Mata Nui. But these celebrations only lasted for a few minutes, when suddenly, Makuta Teridax took control of Mata Nui's body. Mata Nui's mind and spirit were placed inside the mask of life, before launching itself from Mata Nui's former body, as it shot out into space. Makuta's master plan of taking over the Matoran universe had succeeded, and now all the Matoran and Toa were now Makuta's slaves. But even as Mata Nui was being shot into space, he vowed that he would return and free his people. As the Mask of Life was headed towards the planet Bara Magna, an asteroid the size of a car struck the mask, sending it off course to another planet; Equestria. Upon awakening in his new, smaller human-sized body, and after fighting and fending off a Vorox, and gaining a new shield from a scarab beetle like creature, he encountered a strange creature, one that he had never seen before. It was even more bizarre when it started to talk. And this is when the story begins...
