Built in 1923, it was purchased by the Wisconsin Central portion of the Soo line for $47,091.64. No. 2719 could reach a top speed of (Approximately) 80 mph, and traveled between 1,500,000 and 2,000,000 miles during it's service life. While the locomotive has not pulled an excursion train since 2013, and is currently on static display, long-term plans call for the engine to be restored to operational condition.
