Oliver Iron Mining No. 900

Built in 1940, No. 900 is one of 34 HH1000 locomotives built by Alco. This particular locomotive was owned by the Oliver Iron Mining company, and was used on the Mesabi Iron Range. In 1973, the locomotive was donated to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum. It is the only surviving HH1000 locomotive left in existence. The last of it's kind.
